hi there - my twins don't turn 1 until this summer but we're having a big "Thing1 Thing 2" party and I was told that places get backed up in the summer so figured I better make an order soon - can anyone recommend someone who does a good job? Thanks~!
I loved her work, and I'm so glad we went with her. It was hard to find a baker/bakery that was willing to go custom.
I've also used Dutch Bakery in M'ville in the past for purchase-straight-from-the-store cakes. They don't do much in the way of customization, but their cakes are good.

We found her when wedding planning and have had several cakes for other reasons now, too. She'll definitely be doing our kids' cakes. :-)

My friend Megan is starting up her cake/baked goods business. She has already made quite a few party/themed cakes for me. Check out her facebook page:
