Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

One week with no bedtime bottle - yay, us.

About a week and a half ago, I started giving DD her bedtime bottle in the living room (with TV on, DH and dogs around) THEN doing bath and bedtime. A few days later, I switched it to the sippy. She has done GREAT so far and actually goes to sleep faster. And, even if she's still awake when I walk out of the room, most of the time she doesn't cry and is asleep within 5 or 10 minutes.  Yay!  Now, if we could only get rid of that pacifier.  That one's gonna be tough!

  • That's great. the only bottle that LO takes is his night bottle, he loves it and it's such a cuddly time for us. We will be trying to transition to a sippy as we move him to his new bed.

  • We have been at about 2 weeks on a straw cup instead of the bedtime bottle and she barely missed a beat. Harder on me I guess.

This is exactly what we did and it worked like a charm!! Now we just need to work on the morning bottle.  :::sigh:::
