How well does your LO sleep in their PNP?

As my DD has gotten older, even in the last 3 months I am noticing it's becoming harder and harder for her to stay asleep in her PNP.  We're going out of town soon and she'll be staying in her PNP at my MIL's house, so I am wondering how that's going to go.  Anyways, just wondering how other LO's are doing in their PNP.  Thanks!

What do you use when you travel then?

We use ours as a travel bed only, and he sleeps great in it (and my kid is huge).  We just put the same stuff in it that he has at home (stuffed animals, music box), and it works like a charm!

DD still sleeps in a PNP at daycare so it works fine for us for travel. I feel a child never sleeps that great when away from their bed, just like us, but my DD usually does pretty well.

DS does well in his, although he naps in it regularly at my parents house (3x/week) and we take it to the mountains with us for weekends about once a month. He slept worse in it when he was little.

I take it you dont travel? or you LO isnt in DC?  Noah goes to DC and still sleeps in it.  I cant see why it would be a big deal.

She doesn't sleep in it for very long. We use it when we go to my inlaws. She either doesn't nap at all or takes a short nap (like 20 mins. vs. 2 hrs)

Well, since my choice is take the P'n'P when we travel or let her sleep in a regular bed and potentially tear the not baby-proofed room apart when she's supposed to be sleeping... yeah, we still use the P'n'P.

OP, DD sleeps about as well in her P'n'P as she does in her crib. We just make sure to stick with her bedtime routine as closely as possible, basically the only thing different is where she sleeps. It probably helps that we travel for at least one weekend out of every 2ish months, so she's very used it it.

What's wrong with using a PnP for an older baby/toddler???

OP: DD sleeps pretty good in her PnP.  She naps in one at DC and does pretty good with that too.  I do find that she doesn't usually nap great when we use the PnP in a new place, but it's not too horrible.  GL!

My DD has never liked sleeping in the PnP.

DD stopped sleeping in a PNP months ago, after she climbed out at my parents' house during naptime. She never like sleeping in it (except when she was a newborn) and once she figured out how to climb out, it was over. Currently, she'll only sleep in her crib.

DS sleeps fine in it, we have to use it when we travel and anytime we have guests at our house, we put him in our room with it.  He is 34 inches tall and does just fine

This. It'd be a disaster if I didn't have his FP crib aquarium in there!
