So it's official...my child is a legal driver (nbfr)

I took my 15yr old to get his restricted license this am. He passed! So legally he can drive without an adult from 6am to 8pm. I new this time would come, but I feel like it has aged me a bit, lol.

We had a great morning though. He had a check up at the Dr. Then we went to dmv, and had a great conversation at lunch together. He and I don't always get that alone time together but it was great. I took one day off last week and took younger ds to the park and zoo. Days like these really make me appreciate my children.( I will try to remember when I want to ring one of their necks!)

    SCARY!!!!

My SD is 15 but we haven't done that yet. Ahhhh!!!

GL with new driver. I am sure he will do great. Now if you are feeling old you can have a driver to take you from place to place. Now that I think about it that isn't too bad of an idea. Glad you got to spend some mother/son time!

They grow up too fast!  My son waited until he was 18 to get his license.  I was not pushing him to get it sooner either :)
