DD has been sick for a few days.  She has a cough and a really snotty nose and bright red cheeks.  She has been acting just miserable, which is really out of character for her-even when she is sick.  I was on the fence about taking her to the dr, but finally decided to just do it.  I knew they wouldn't be able to do anything for her, but...

Well, it turns out that she has Fifth disease AND a double ear infection.  Poor baby.  Then, to make it even worse, as we were walking into the post office, a door got opened into her face and slammed against her forehead...

Pretty rotten day...

Poor wee one! That is a rotten day!

I was on the fence about taking DD earlier this week too.  Glad I did as she also had an ear infection and developed a viral rash.

I figured well the doc has the thingie to look in her ears and listen to her chest and she knows what to look for.  If it's nothing, it was still worth my time for the peace of mind.  And if it's something, then we can help heal her.

Good job mama!!  Enjoy some snuggles with her later :-).

We also were diagnosed with a double ear infection today. I almost didn't take DD in, but my gut told me to just take her. This is our 5th double ear infection in 4 months, so we'll be going to see the ENT next week.
