Bedding Question

My DH and I are going to be living in a small one bedroom while our house is built and will probably be there until after LO is born.  We are registered for a small bassinet / pack n play.  I was wondering, do you put sheets on the bassinet pad or no? My mom said yes and she also bought a matching blanket, which I didn't think you used with babies either,  I'm a confused first time mom. lol Help please!

yes they sell bassinet and pack-n-play sheets. blankets with babies are a no due to SIDS unless you're swaddling or something like that.

I use a sheet on my PNP because if the baby spits up or the diaper explodes I can wash the sheet and disinfect the PNP much easier than trying to clean it all off of the PNP.

You can use the blanket to swaddle, but not as a "blanket" I LOVE the swaddle blankets that have the velcro to keep them closed and the sleep saks when they get older.
