I have to restrain myself. I just bought DD two summer dresses today at Walmart ($7 each!). (Walmart is the shiz in Canada). I could have bought half the baby section, but I was a good girl.
Shopping for girls is so much fun! I still have fun buying for DD1, even though I have to be more selective in the cool quotient.
I'm on the hunt for a cutie Elmo dress!

Ok, maybe I'm just weird, but... I really don't think that outfits like these look good on a child who is walking... what do you think?
I agree! I actually hardly use any button in the crotch onesies anymore. We have a bunch of really cute onesies but she only wears them with dresses or under bibs. I prefer her in an actual shirt with shorts, skirts and pants.

My daughter has a closet full of shirts and dresses and a drawer full of shorts and skirts for the summer. She, honestly, does not need anymore clothes. However, most of the clothes in her closet and drawers are hand me downs (most really cute and in excellent condition) so I find myself buying little extras for her pretty often... However, I told DH that I wasn't going to spend anymore money on clothes for DD until June. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to keep my promise...

I'll put Tegan in a onesie, but she has to be wearing a skirt/shorts/pants, etc. over the onesie. She doesn't have a ton of onesies, but I did buy a 5 pack of Carters sleeveless onesies that will work with the 10 pairs of blue jean shorts that she has, lol!
I'm jealous. I have to go boutique to get cute clothes for DS - I'm currently watching a few auctions on ebay for an affordable and cute 4th of july outfit for DS.
It is very easy to not buy clothes when you have a boy. They don't make cute stuff for boys. If I had a girl I would be broke.
this exactly! i buy stuff for DS but half the time i'm like Aww look at all this cute stuff for girls! We are expecting #2 and another boy will be cheaper but a girl will be sooo cute!

Apparently you're blind.
LOL.
But I agree. I find lots of cute stuff for DS.
I'm probably in the minority, but my son actually has more clothes than my DD. LOL. Maybe its because he was born first and I just became used to heading over to the boys dept. as soon as I walk into a store, but I just go nuts buying him clothes and shoes. He looks like a little man in his outfits. I love it!
I do find myself buying much more expensive clothes for my DD. I would never spend the kind of money on a boy's outfit that I spend on a girl's.

I agree and disagree. There IS cute stuff for boys. However, there isn't as large of a selection. Most catalogs that I get are 80% girl ad 20% boy. I definitely agree with you in that I too would be broke if I had a girl. WAY too many options and accessories etc...

Oh, and you have to buy that.

This. Boy clothes are just small versions of regular men's clothing... BORING.
I think it's harder to find cute clothes for boys. While there are cute clothes for boys, it's like going on a scavenger hunt.
This exactly!
YEP!
OP...it does make me want to buy it for a friends little girl though...

My aunt bought this dress for DD, I love it!
