Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Recommend your "push" tricycle

I am looking into buying one of the tricycles that the parents can push from behind.  I don't think my DS will do the stroller this summer, but I still like my walks.  He is 20 months old and can't work the peddals yet, so I need something he can grow and learn with.  I have been looking at the Radio Flyer ones or the Schwinn ones since they are 25% off this week at Toys r Us.  Any thoughts?

  • We got the Schwinn one for DD for Christmas. So far is has held up really well. DD likes it, it is super easy to steer and manuver, and DD definitely prefers the bike to her stroller.

  • We have this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003B7LDHI/ref=wms_ohs_product_T2 but I caught it as a Gold Box deal and only paid $40ish.  I have pushed her a LONG way in it.  I can also pop it into my car really easily to take with us to the pedestrian mall or to friends houses.

Currently we have the pedals disengaged so she won't get hurt by turning pedals.  She greatly prefers this thing to her stroller!
