What times is your m/s worse? [TMI warning]

I was just curious what everyone else's is like?  I used to vomit allll day everyday, if I ate or even drank it came right back up, now I have a little routine that I am pretty used to. I wake up every morning, go straight to the toilet for about 5-10 minutes of dry heaving/throwing up, then can go eat breakfast, which has about a 75% chance of staying down. I'm then usually good as long as I eat every few hours. However, if I EVER wake up at 3:30 in the morning, I can count on it being the sickest time in my life. I thought I had tricked the system last night and drank some applejuice, only to projectile vomit it across the living room not even 10 minutes later.

  • Aww.  That sounds awful!!  I would get up brush my teeth dry heave and then take a shower which I would dry heave during.  Then if I waited a couple hours I could get down breakfast.  I would have lunch around 11:30 and get sick in the afternoon around 2-3.  After dinner I would feel sick but usually kept it down.  Sometimes I would dry heave in the middle of the night.

  • I'm so sorry, it sucks.  I think everyone is different.  I can always count on being sick in the morning and evening, sleep through the night just fine.  As for the middle of the day it is always a guess, some days are fine and I think I'm out of the woods, other days I can't even get off of the sofa.

I really hope you feel better.

  • Probably after an hour of being awake and then not again until afternoon/evening.
  • With pg #1 I was woken up by MS every morning in months 3-6 at 7:30am.  I had to run to the sink (no food in vomit so the sink was okay and higher then the toilet) or more likely the shower because I also had to pee when I got up (the pressure from the vomiting, well you get the picture).  After that I was fine, but on occasion the vomiting was so bad that I had to go back to bed.  The worst was in month 4 when for 2 weeks when I vomited it was with so much force that I would start coughing and it would go into my sinuses and come out my nose.  Which burns like a MF!

In the end it wasn't that bad because I knew the rest of the day would be clear.  Maybe I'll get that lucky or luckier this time around.

  • I can be queasy all day long, but if I am going to throw up it is typically around 3-4 pm.  I hope you start feeling better.
  • you poor thing, that sucks :(  mine is definitely worse between about 3pm and 8pm.  when i'm on my way home from work on the subway it really gets bad, thank god i've kept it together so far!!  the ONLY thing that helps me is eating something.  for example, the entire bag of potato chips that i just ate.
