well... a BFF that is a girl
He moved up to the 12-24 mo room earlier this month. He was at first drawn to one child he was with a lot in the infant room, but by the middle of the month he has been stuck like glue to a little girl that is about 6mo older than him (he never overlapped with her in the infant room because she wasn't there over the summer). She calls him Gack and he calls her Kat (Kate) and they spend the entire day together. When I pick him up and take him home he will wave bye bye to everyone in the room and then see her and blow a kiss or run over to give her a hug.
The teachers told me they always follow each other around, play with the same toys, "read" to each other and whenever the other one shoes up for the day they have to run over and give each other a hug. And just this week the teachers had to start setting up their nap mats next to each other because he would always try to go lay on her mat as they got ready for nap time.
It is just so adorable to watch him learn new social skills!

Awwwww! So cute!
Will and Dash "share" a girlfriend lol. When they first started daycare, there were only three kids in their room: the two of them and a little girl about a month older than them named Andrea. More kids are in the room now, but she's their favorite and they both like to cozy up to her lol.
that is just TOO cute. melts my heart!
and LOL at Gack

haha, too cute!
Aw, how cute! You never know...30 years from now you may be recounting this story at their wedding! LOL!
We've been taking Libby to the playground now that the weather is nicer and it's so fun to see her interact with the other kids. Sadly, it seems that she likes them WAY more then they like her...I mean she wants to "chat" and touch them and they usually just stare blankly back. It's kinda weird, actually. Older kids(2+) interact with her though and she does enjoy it!
