How many does your LO have? Do they wear the same one everyday? My DD just started to walk and I'm shopping for some shoes...I figure she'll need a sandal for summer and a sneaker for everyday wear. Should I get more....
Right now E has 2 pairs, a dress pair and a tennis shoe. When we start PT next month I will buy a couple more cheap pairs so they can get wet, dirty, etc during the PTing.
Right DS has one pair he wears everyday and a pair of sandals for playing when it gets warmer. Plus I need to get him something slightly nicer for church so it will be 3.
If I had a girl -- oh boy! -- I don't know how I could resist getting more of those cute shoes.
My daughter has lots of shoes, but that's mainly because we've had many pairs handed down to us and my MIL LOVES thrift stores, lol!
If I needed to buy her shoes in a particular size, I'd do a tennis shoe, sandal and dress shoe for the summer and a tennis shoe, boot and dress shoe for the winter.
DS has too many pairs of shoes! (They are often given to him!) He has camo tennis shoes, plaid tennis shoes, blue tennis shoes, white tennis shoes, and play tennis shoes. Brown and black dress shoes, winter boots, work boots , and several pair of house shoes. It is crazy, we had to clear off one of his book shelves to have a place for them all. He doesn't have any sandals yet!
Last year I just had 2 sandals, one sneaker and a pair of dress shoes. This year I think I might need another pair of sneakers, though, but I will be waiting till midsummer before getting them hopefully.
My LO has one pair right now, they are tennis shoes. But once summer comes we are gonna get him a pair of sandals. I think that boys can get away with two pairs but girls "need" a few more.

DS has about 10 pairs. My MIL can't help herself...she loves buying him shoes. He has lots of Robeez (which we love). They are great for his fat feet. He also has a couple pairs of Skidders from Target. I like them because they are easy to get on/off. When he was learning to walk I bought him a pair of hard sole Converse shoes.
He has Crocs, which I hope he can wear this summer. I'm wondering if he'll be willing to wear flip flops. Old Navy has some cute ones.
DS has a pair of Crocs, a pair of sandal-type shoes (tan), a pair of tan everyday shoes, and a cheap pair of sporty sandals. He mostly wears the Crocs lately, since our weather has been nice (minus the last couple of days).
LO has 2 pairs of stride rite shoes...1 black...1 brown, 2 pairs of squeaky shoes...1 black...1 brown and a pair of sneakers that are white, orange, and blue. I'll get him a pair of sandals and another pair of sneakers for the summer.

1 pair of sneakers (white) and 1 pair of hot pink maryjanes
soon i'll be getting a pair of sandals for her too since it's FINALLY warming up !
Love - a wildly misunderstood although highly desirable malfunction of the heart which weakens the brain, causes the eyes to sparkle, cheeks to glow, blood pressure to rise and the lips to pucker - Author Unknown
Stride Rite - navy washable velcro sneakers -lt gray with grass green tie sneakers -orange/black/silvery gray velcro sneakers -bright blue w/ lime green piping velcro sneakers -brown leather full back sandals (but he can't wear them because they give him blisters on his heels)
Target -bright blue rubber flip-flops -bright blue/green swim shoe with velcro cross strap
We'd like to get him another pair of nice sandals with an open back since it's so hot here. We hate that he has to wear sneakers most of the time because his feet sweat so bad.
