I found these names in a baby name book and kind of like them. I'm not a big fan of how Keelyn is spelled though, and was wondering if there is a different spelling?
And, would either of them work with the middle name "Pearce"?
We found out Monday that we are in fact expecting a baby girl. =o)

Keely is okay, but Keelyn is NMS. Perhaps Kailyn? That sounds more feminine, IMO.
I like this better too.

Yes, I agree with this too, or even Kaitlyn. Is Pearce a family name?

Thanks guys! I was afraid of the "cuteness" of the name and you just confirmed my suspicions!
Striking those names off the list! =o)
Oh and Pearce is a family name that we are going to use as a middle name. Now only if we would agree on a FN that isn't popular, trendy or old, but yet feminine. ugh.
I like Keely, but not Keelyn. Keelyn sounds made up to me.
Pearce is too masculine for my taste, but if it's got a family connection or something like that, I could see using it.
This, all the way! I actually like the name Keely - it's a somewhat popular Irish name. I used to work with a girl with this name and she was super sweet so maybe I'm biased. I actually may be in the minority here because I like it a lot.
Keelyn is NMS.
Agree. They are so baby like. Think about when your kid is 35.
Love Keely. I think it sounds fun and fresh, without being trendy. I had a friend name Keely and she made it cool. She get called Kelly sometimes, but it wasn't a big deal to her.
Keelyn is bad. It's like "keelin' over." Even though it may be in a baby book, it looks made up.
Pearce is pretty masculine. It flows, but unless it is a family name, I would give it a pass.
I know two boys named Keeler and Kelin (pronounced Kee-lin) - both are Irish boy names. I know a girl named Kellan, though. I'm not a huge fan of Keely and I don't like the spelling of Keelyn.
What about Kellan?
Baby Boy born sleeping at 20 weeks.
I know a Keely. It is nms, but if you like it, that's cool.
I know a mom named Kehlen, which is pronounced the same as Keelyn. She is from Ireland, too, so I think it's an Irish name.
The problem with that spelling is I'm sure it gets mispronounced ALL THE TIME. I actually forget how to say it frequently. I thought it was Keh-lin, then Kay-lin....but it's Key-lin.
I know a grown woman named Keely so my perception may be skewed a bit. I don't think it's that cutesy.
I wouldn't go w/ Keelyn Pearce though. Too unisex sounding. U asked for alt spellings: Keelan, Kielan...depends on how uneek u wanna get.
