Diaper Bags

Lately we have been using the umbrella stroller for quick runs to the mall or other small errands, since something is wrong with the straps on our other stroller. I'm so used to having that large basket under our "regular" stroller to store our diaper bag, but with the umbrella stroller, I only have that little space underneath.

It got me thinking...do you ladies switch to a smaller diaper bag on certain outings? Or do you just tuck some supplies in your purse (I carry a large one) and not take a diaper bag? Now that DD is older, and I'm not worrying about constant peeing through outfits or poop explosions, it's easier to imagine being without my big ole bag of stuff and just bringing a few essentials. Just curious what you guys do, and if you have any recs for a smaller bag. Thanks!

Sometimes I use my purse. Other times I have a diaper dude that is messenger style for quick trips where I only take a sippy of water and a couple diapers and her small case of wipes.

Yep, I have a smaller one that I use sometimes, and I keep a small zippered bag with diapers, wipes, cream, and a receiving blanket in my car.  I still use the bigger one occasionally for longer trips, but typically don't when running errands or going to a store or something.
