Not sure if I should ask or not...

My U/S is scheduled for the 5th of April...Well I just found out my sister which is also my best friend and the one going with me since my DH can not...She can't go that day...Would it be to much if I asked my doctor to do it earlier...I do not think I could wait longer...LOL

    That is hard. I depends on how booked your U/S place is. I know there is no way I could swing it at MFM because high-risk doctors stay booked nearly solid. It can't hurt to ask though. They can only say no.

    My doctor does them his self...HOPEFULLY...I can...Just making sure I would not be crossing any boundaries with my doctor...

    You should be fine then. He will just honestly tell you if he can't move it. Good luck. I hope you can because I cannot imagine going to something like that alone. I specifically scheduled mine when DH is off work and DS can go to daycare.

    DH works a a doctors office as well...He is a nurse and just started a new clinic with better pay and benefits...so we really are trying to save the time for when the baby comes...And my mom just decided she wanted to move to Montana...GRRR

    Its not like you'd be asking to move it up way sooner, you just want to have someone there with you.  I say ask for sure!

    No, ask! I've had to change my appointments/ us due to when my dh could go.

    It can't hurt to ask, but be prepared for them to say they don't have any earlier openings.  If they don't, would you keep the original appt and go alone? Or would you be willing to go later?  Every office is different, but I know my doc wouldn't likely be able to reschedule something like that in less than a week.
