Timing for Shower

Need opinions from mom's who did a shower after baby is born.  We are looking at about 3-4 weeks after baby to do a shower at the beginning of May!  Any thoughts/comments on this.  Did it work for you? not work for you? ideas!  TIA!

    Just thoughts but not from personal experience:

    • Keep in mind you may have to have a c-sec, and the recovery time can be long
    • Keep in mind how you're going to feel about a lot of people all wanting to touch, hold, cuddle your LO when they're so tiny
    • Keep in mind how long it will last, and how tired you might be

    All in all I'd say it just depends on you.  Do you think it will work for you?
