How loud is too loud for white noise in LO's room?

I have the Homedics spa sound on rain pretty loud AND I have a fan on in DD's room.  My house is sooooo loud and my DH and brother stomp around until midnight most nights.  Both the fan and the spa sound drain out the noise, but I worry that it is too much noise.  The fan is pretty loud.  WDYT?

    We always have ours on as loud as possible...I read once to put it up as loud as it would go.

    Hey if your baby is sleeping ok then I don't think it is too loud. Maybe your LO likes that much noise.

    We have ours up to the max. DD gets tubes on Friday so I think that i will need to turn it down then as it may be way too loud for her.
