How often do you guys eat mac n cheese?

It's a staple in our house!  Anytime we go out to eat that what the kids want (yesterday).   I swear that's all they ate for dinner at Disney.   I made homemade mac n cheese the other night (with left over noodles from homemade pasta salad) and we had Anne's tonight (with fresh green beans, squash and pork tenderloin).   That's three time in a week!

Not very often because we have to make it from scratch (the prepackaged GF stuff is horrid) and the kids don't really like it enough to make all that work worth it.

We eat Annie's probably once every other week.

We probaby have it once every couple of weeks.  I don't buy it in box form at all (Rory won't eat it), so it is always homemade, which really does not take that much longer, I guess.  We just don't have it that often because Cohen can't eat it (allergic to dairy).

How funny - I have homemade mac & cheese in the oven right now because I haven't had it in probably a year. Dubliner and Gruyere cheeses - yum!

the packaged gross stuff about once a month/6 weeks.  I make my own maybe once every 2, 3 months.  I love it though.  I should make it more often.

Zenya, you must be buying the wrong stuff to call the boxed stuff gross Annie's Peace Pasta and Parmesan will change your life. I'm currently working to perfect my homemade recipe... Next time I make it I'm using this aged Gouda I taste-tested at wegmans. If anyone has wegmans nearby, their Mac and cheese is fantastic in the deli. We eat Mac and cheese about once a week in some form!

The eat it often, though not usually the boxed kind.  I do trader joe's frozen for the kids, but we also do a lot of tortellini with various sauces.  The kids love it.  Trader Joe's has a new butternut squash that is great, as well as, artichoke which has 5 grams of fiber.

My kids have never  had mac-n-cheese.   I made it homemade once, and they wouldn't touch it.  Now, I bet if I got the boxed kind, they'd eat it!

We have it once every couple of weeks - homemade.  And, we try many different recipes...sometimes we use 'fancy' cheese, sometimes just nice cheddar.  My kids love mac 'n cheese!  In fact, we are bringing homemade mac 'n cheese to our neighbor's this week and they are going to grill some meat!

My girls are allergic to milk, and it's one of those American foods that I just never had growing up, so I never eat.

I'd say 4 to 6 times a month, and that includes the boxed kind (usually Annie's, but Kraft's with real sauce doesn't suck, either), homemade and even the microwaveable Easy Mac in a pinch (omg, did I just admit that on the Bump?!?! ))

Maybe once or twice a month at most. Sometimes I'll make it for the kids for lunch on the weekends and then have leftovers to send to daycare on Monday. I don't eat the stuff myself.

I do love the gross velveeta stuff in the squeezy packet!!
