How do I choose the right hospital to deliver?

I'm clueless. I'm 10 weeks pregnant, and nervous. I don't even know where to begin...can anyone help me???

I would start by checking which hospitals your insurance would cover.

You should compare the obgyn Dr you want and compare to see if what hospitals they deliver at. I already had a great obgyn Dr and she delivers at Beth Israel so I never questioned it.

I chose based on distance from my home. I delivered at NYU. It was a great hospital IMO. The only thing that sucked was the size of the post partum rooms. But that is probably the same every where. If you plant to breast feed they are a particularly good hospital. All of the nurses are also certified lactation consultants.
