Tristan or Connor

Hey, ladies. I'm still contemplating baby names (as I'm sure I will be for a while). DH and I both like Tristan, but our last name sounds like Reuben, so I feel the sounds are too repetitive.

I also like Connor, but I'm feeling that it may be too popular.

The other name we were considering was Miles.

Any thoughts on these names, or other name suggestions? Any suggestions are appreciated at this point, we seem to be having trouble

I like Connor better. Tristan has always sounded really feminine to me.

ETA: Just noticed that Miles is also an option so I would definitely go with that over the other two.

If you ask me, all the names you like are getting popular. I think Connor is probably the most popular right now, but I do know 2 toddlers named Tristan and Miles. I think Connor and Miles sound better with your last name. I prefer Miles and Connor, but Tristan is just ok for me. Good Luck deciding!

I agree with you that Tristan sounds too similar to your last name. I'm not a fan of Connor and the rising popularity would bother me also.

I really like Miles! Tristan is okay, but if it's sing-songy with your LN, then it's a no-go. Connor is NMS.

Tristan is my favorite, but with your last name I wouldn't do it. I like both the others, but I prefer Miles.

My 3 and 4 year old brothers in law (I usually refer to him as my nephew since DH and I are in our mid 20's) are ironically Connor and Tristan. I think they are cute names but for little boys only . My vote is Miles!
