I went to the doc today and I'm still not dilated. Not even just a little. So I scheduled a c-section for friday....4/1/11! I did want to have a vbac earlier in the pregnancy, but I guess you can say I chicken out.lol Im so tired of being pregnant. Now I just hope I'm ready for this painful recovery of a c-section.Its been almost 5 years since I had one.Wish me luck!

I would probably do the same. I wasn't even going to attempt a VBAC (mostly because I am a horrible candidate), but think I would have chickened out too. It is easier to know what to expect and have the ability to plan/schedule a little bit.
I think unless you've already had a c/s it's difficult to imagine why it would be easier. Plus even if you tried the VBAC, there is no guarantee you wouldn't labor for hours only to end up back at square one.
Best of luck to you! Sorry your VBAC plans didn't work out!
