I feel seriously lucky that it works for us.  Jackson was staying up 12 to 20 hours, daily, with no nap, over the past couple of weeks.  We started CIO yesterday - First nap, he screamed 1:15... then nighttime was 17 minutes.  Nap today was 15 minutes and he has been sleeping so soundly each time.  This is great.  What a difference.

Same here! Ugh, we had the WORST sleep issues and nothing worked except for time...eventually he figured this whole sleep business out.

I never wanted to do CIO either but sometimes you got to do what you got to do... unfortunately, it doesn't always work for DS... he goes in phases where on the 3rd day he'll just lay down and sleep or be up until we give in.

I remember you!  How  far along are you now?  I, too, swore I would never CIO but when I hadn't slept more then four hours straight in a year, we had to try it.  It worked within a few days for us.  Hope you're doing well.
