Okay so that really isn't what I'm writing about and I know that was totally mean, but if you at least looked at this post, then we should get to talkin'!  Let's do a get to know you, as someone else suggested we do on the Loc.Loc.Loc post.  All you have to do is copy and paste.  This board is dead and it'd be nice to chat with some local ladies.

Baby(babies): #1 - Baby Boy - Henry - 7 1/2 months old

Your story (or anything you want to share about yourself): I stopped BC in October.  I found out I was pregnant on Christmas Eve (what a great Christmas present!)  DS was 1 day overdue.  I was on bedrest 3 days before my due date because of pre-eclampsia and had a c-section on 08/19.  I have been BFing DS since day one and hope to go until day 365!  DS has been a good baby so far - but teething is awful!  He has his two bottom front teeth out and we're thinking the top _FOUR_ front are next - all of them look like they are starting to poke through his gums.

Things we like to do for fun: We love being outdoors.  We go ice fishing in the winter, fishing in the summer, hiking, camping, boating.  When we're indoors, we like to play the Wii, watch movies and TV (Scrubs, Lost, Heroes, Futurama, lol).

How did you and your DH meet?  DH and I met on Yahoo! personals - crazy I know.  We emailed back and forth and then finally went on our first date - to the drive-in, haha.  My sister double dated with us and sat in a car next to us with her date.  We've been together for 7 years, married for 4.

Baby: #1- Baby Girl- Elizabeth - 4 1/2 months old, birthday 11-09-2010

My Story: DH and I got married on December 31, 2009 and decided to let the cards end where they may. I got my BFP on March 16th which was the anniversary or when DH and I started dating. DD was born 6 days before her due date and was induced because I was having real labor contractions that didn't do anything to my cervix but caused major emotional problems and stress that were getting to dangerous levels. I tried BFing DD right from the start but it didn't take until her actual due date. We started having oversupply issues at 2 months and are currently recovering from lack of supply issues. I've thought of quitting several times but DD won't hear of it so we will probably breastfeed until I can't take it or until DD weans herself. We are also currently trying to fix naptime issues and bedtime issues and hopefully soon we will be back to smooth sailing. I'm also currently taking classes online at Weber State and I'm studying Nutrition in the hopes of eventually becoming a lactation consultant.

Things we like to do for fun: I play WoW, bump, RPG and write during my little free time. I hope I get more of it back soon. (I'm most easily found bumping currently on the 3-6 month board)

How did you and your DH meet?: DH was one of my brother's friends along with being the little brother to one of my sister's best friends. We didn't start dating though until I started frequenting a local theatre called the empress where DH improved. We started dating March 16, 2009, were engaged July 4, 2009, and got married on December 31, 2009.

Hi Melissa!  I think it is so awesome that you are studying to become a LC.  I was so grateful for mine when DS was born.  I wouldn't be BFing if it weren't for her (and my DH, who requested help while I was struggling).

Good luck with the napping and bedtime issues.  We are currently doing some research on getting DS to bed without nursing him to sleep.  I don't really want to do CIO yet (I'd like to leave that as a last resort if it comes to it) and I'm reading No-Cry Sleep Solution and have a few more books on the way.  Napping is really hard for us too when DS is with us on the weekends (he goes to daycare during the day and magically naps great there!).  He likes to take little 20-30 minute naps with us, but the daycare lady is able to get him to nap at least hour-2 hour naps during the day.

I've also thought about quitting BFing - I love DS to death and I'm glad to give him that, but sometimes it is SUCH a pain - especially pumping at work.  But my goal is one year, so we'll see.

Baby(babies): #2 - Baby Boy -Cole- 3 1/2 years old, girl - hallie - 1, and just found out we are expecting #3

Your story (or anything you want to share about yourself): I love being a mom, I love being pregnant, I love to blog/craft/style parties. I have a bachelors in business but don't use it.  I have extremely long cycles therefor it took us between 6 - 11 months to get pg each time. Both babies were bf until they were around 6 months and I dried up, wish I could have gone longer.  We are not finding out the sex of our third babe and I think not knowing might kill me :> We are currently trying to sell our house (I know awesome timing) and want to build in Spanish Fork.  We like the smaller town feel.

Things we like to do for fun: We also love being outdoors camping, fishing, dh races dirtbikes, four wheeling. Love movies, going out to eat, bowling.

How did you and your DH meet?  DH and I met at snow college. We dated for 4 years and have been married for five.

I've started reading No Cry Sleep Solution. I think it might help when we get everything together but I need to finish the book I think before we get started on the plan.

Hi Julie!  Good luck on selling your house... it would be nice if the market coordinated with our life changes, huh?   I'd LOVE to sell our tiny house, but we have a few more updates to do to it to gain some equity.  We're hoping to start building in about 1-2 years, so maybe we should put our house up for sale now... lol.
