who has them? DD sleeps in a sleep sack but her pedi suggested I get this kind since she'll become more active in her sleep. Is there a certain brand?? I remember once seeign them.
ok, il say it. I just dont get the need to continue using sleep sacks at this age. Also, if its footless, its not really a sack is it? Why not go to target and get some footy jams?

My DD can walk her crib, crawl etc with her sleep sack too. But I think she likes her "blankie" as we call it more of comfort and more of sleep association too which gives me some peace of mind. I need to ditch the sleep sack and the pedi just suggested this kind and offer a real blanket too.

Same here. You child is old enough now to have a blanket.
Well, I get it....we use one every night (The Halo early walker). I would rather my child not fall while trying to walk in his crib in a regular sleep sack, I can just see the split lip/knocked out teeth/bloody nose.
We use fleece footy pjs, so his feet stay warm. He has a blanket but he does not stay in one spot, so it is off before I even go to bed. He stays nice and warm, tucks his arms under his body and sleeps on his belly.
They do run very big, but they are supposed to....they just "skirt" around their feet. My DS is 25lbs and 34 inches tall...the large fits great.

My son wears one of these because he practically runs circles in his sleep and can't keep a blanket over him to save his life. He's just a very squirmy sleeper, and these have been a godsend to us. We keep revisiting the blanket, but he's just not ready yet. Plus, they're great because he can wake up and walk around his crib without tripping; he would trip in the regular sleep sack. Just try to remember that each child is different, and what's really important is that they're getting adequate sleep.
