1st time at daycare tomorrow!

I'm sooo nervous! My DS is going to daycare tomorrow for his first time. We were planning on waiting until he was 2 (which is only 3 weeks away) but BF is going out of town for a day & I have to work, and for some odd reason, we just couldnt find a sitter for the life of us.

So tomorrow will be his first day at daycare, and he'll be there ALL day. This may just be a test run to see how he does. If he does really well, then we'll pry start throwing him in there 3 times a week.

UGH! Hope he does well!! He seems to do really well with his cousin (who is 8 months younger then him) and also does well with our friend who's children are a little older.

Everything will be ok! <<< I keep telling myself

It might be hard on him and just remember that is totally normal.  My girl just started going to daycare and cried off and on the 4 hours she was there.  She boycotted food, liquids and her nap.

LO just started 2 weeks ago.  Our dcp suggested he come half days for the first week so he could get adjusted.  He did pretty well, and started full time last week.  Today when I dropped him off, he didn't even cry. 

Good luck to your LO.  I planned to start LO in daycare at 2 as well, but circumstances changed.

It might be tough in the beginning, but I think he'll quickly love being around all the other kids and participating in fun activities. Don't get discouraged in the early stages!
