Ok I know people hate posts like this but I have to know....

How far along were you when you felt your FIRST flutter or movement?

Re: Fluttering?

  • With my first it was probably not until 22 weeks... This being my fourth pregnancy, and having two in there...I felt it REALLY early. I would hazzard to guess 12/13 weeks...

  • That I recognized for sure to be the babies?  I was about 16.5 weeks.  Now that being said, I had felt it on and off for a couple weeks but I really wasn't sure what I was feeling until then.

  • Early I know, but for me it was 12 weeks exactly!

  •  I felt kicks/punches around 18-19ish weeks. I didn't ever feel fluttering. If I did I just attributed it to gas.

  • 15.5 weeks.  I wasn't sure that's what it was for a couple weeks after that, but I was sitting on a plane the first time I felt it.

  • I started feeling flutters- that were no way regular probably week 14. I felt my first real "kick" last week on the first day of week 17.

  • I know it's early for me, but when I sit in certain positions I'm confident I can feel an occasional flutter.  I might feel them once every 3 days though.  I'm VERY in tune with my body, and I know it's not common at all to feel anything this early.  A friend of mine has 2 sets of twins and felt hers at 9w and 10w respectively.  Her doc didn't believe her, but when she had her sono she turned her head away and told him when she felt them move and sure enough, she was right!
