I dropped DD nap alittle over a month ago and we're still struggling. My DD was never a short napper...she wakes early pre-6 and goes to bed early as well around 6 or earlier. She'll sleep anywhere from 45-1hr and some days alittle more than an hour. It depends on what time your LO wakes for the day. Some LO's can handle a long stretch to 12 while others start off at 11 and slowly push their way thru until 12-1.
At this point, DS's nap is is at 10 or 11 for about 2-3 hours. Being the third, he has to be flexible about his schedule. I usually give him a snack before his nap and then lunch after. If he manages to stay up long enou for an early lunch at 11:30ish, I give him that but a lot of times he's too tired to eat well. If he's anything like the girls, his nap will gradually move later to about 1ish in the next few months.
We dropped the morning nap and moved his late afternoon nap up a little bit. Now he eats breakfast around 830, plays, eats lunch between 1130-12, then goes down for his nap at 1230-1 and sleeps 2-3 hours.
Ours changed to one nap when they moved rooms at daycare shortly after their 1st bday so we do things like they do it there. At that time, they ate lunch at 1030 and then napped 11-1. Now that they're older (after 18 mo) the nap is more like 1130-130.
At home on the weekends, I give them lunch after the nap & give them a good snack before it.
DD gets a small lunch before her nap. She naps sometime between 10:30-1 and once she falls asleep she's good for at least 2 hours. I am fortunate to have a great sleeper. She gets another small lunch sometime after her nap.
We just transitioned a few weeks ago, so we're still working on timing. But 90% of the time he gets lunch around 11:30, and then goes down for 1.5-2.5 hours.
The other 10% is when he wakes up early (anything before 8am) he will have a snack around 10:45-11 and then take a nap.
I don't worry about keeping the time consistent, but instead keeping the routine consistent. He knows it food, then nap.

DD takes a nap right after lunch. If she wakes up really early I'll give her a snack and put her down before lunch, but she has to eat something before going down, or she will only nap for an hour. If we time it right then she will sleep 2-3 hours.
Its hard to judge my expertise on this because DS has been on 1 nap since about 6 months or so.
He gets up at 0430 for me to take him to daycare. He takes a bottle, goes right back down until 8:30-9. Eats breakfast and plays until about 12:30. At 12:30 he gets lunch, is offered a bottle and goes back down from 1-4.
DD dropped hers around 12 months. She takes her one nap before lunch..usually between 10:30-11 depending on when she woke up that morning. I tried in the beginning to get her to take it after lunch and it just doesn't work for her..she either sleeps like crap or is super cranky when she wakes up later in the day. I just give her a snack before her nap since she usually wakes up around 1-1:30 and has a later lunch.
Cedric has been on 1 nap since about 12-13 months old. I started by putting him down a little later than his normal 1st nap and then just keeping him up the rest of the day. It was rough going at first and sometimes he did get 2 naps those first couple of weeks. Then we had a nap at noon and I have slowly moved it to 1pm.
So to answer your question he eats lunch about noon then naps at 1pm.
