I'm a little new to the Etsy scene, but I'm wondering about the feedback situation. I know with Ebay, feedback is really important (for both buyer and seller). I've only made a few Etsy purchases so far. Is it not a very big deal for a seller to leave feedback for a buyer? Maybe a buyer's feedback status doesn't matter as much to Etsy sellers as it does to Ebay sellers. Just curious.
Re: Etsy feedback question
Personally I always leave feedback for buyers. Mostly I'm just hoping that they'll be more inclined to leave me feedback if I leave them some. But that doesn't always work.
I have no idea whether any of it actually matters or not.

Thanks for the ... feedback, everyone! :-) I always leave feedback for the seller, as I would on Ebay, too. I just wondered why sellers don't seem to leave feedback, often.
I never got into Etsy during wedding planning, but I've found some good baby stuff! I wish it was easier to search, though.

Oh, this wasn't about you, L! :-) I've bought about half a dozen things lately and gotten 2 feedback replies. I was just curious about the process.
ETA: Just happened to log in there. Thanks! :-)

I could care less if people leave feedback for me (I only buy, I have nothing creative to sell). However, I do look at a seller's feedback when I want to find out more about the quality of his/her work and whether or not I can expect it to arrive in a reasonable amount of time. Because of that, I always leave feedback when I buy something to help both the seller and other purchasers out.
