Hey girl! I started WW again today and didn't do a great job with planning (was busy). I knew I didn't have many points for dinner and sort of panicked as things that were good "go to" recipes on the old plan don't work with the new plan (points too high). So I looked on the WW site and made the Tomato and Feta frittata (3 pts). It was awesome! Give it a try if you like that kind of thing
Have you found any good staples yet?
Re: M Amy
Hi Jen!! Oh cool for you for joining! I hear what you mean about planning. I have my office stocked with things to eat but I am always screwed over the weekends because I have nothing snacky in the house.
I have to admit I am taking the easy route for Weight Watchers. I just buy twenty frozen meals each week and eat those rather than make dinner or lunch. Well, I still make dinner but it is for DH and Matt and I eat a frozen meal. I don't trust my ability to accurately gauge portion yet.
I may need to break out the pan for the frittata though because that sounds delicious and only 3 points!
I forgot to add I love, love love the Weight Watchers frozen desserts. The Chocolate chip cookie dough sundae is my favorite. I always save four points everyday so I can have one after dinner.
Also, I eat apples as my snack. I enjoy the texture and sweetness.
Oh and (this is sooo pathetic) but I will nuke a bowl of green beans, put some sea salt on them and that "I can't believe it is not butter" spray and eat them for a snack. It really fills me up and according to the points system it is free. And one more thing:
I get dried soup mix (Knorrs Veggie) and mix it in fat free sour cream. I eat it with carrots and sometimes as a treat Low fat wheat thins.
