Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

What do you do with your pictures?

We take soo many and I'm just wondering if you print all the good ones or do you just keep them on your computer and print a few? Do you put them in photo albums or do online photo books or something else? Also how behind are you on your photos? I'm almost a year behind on ordering besides the professional ones!

Re: What do you do with your pictures?

  • I make a yearly photo book with all my favorites. I use MyPublisher.com.

  • Before DD was 1 all the pictures were saved on the computer organized by groups of months (0-3, 3-6, etc.)  After a year they were organized by certain categories (holidays, everyday life, preschool, etc.)  Some photos I printed out to put in frames.  I also made a photo book, which I used as a guest book at her 1st birthday party,  and plan to do it every year.  I'm not behind in my photos.  As I upload them I immediately put them into the corresponding folders.  Let me rephrase, I'm no longer behind on them!  The photos I wanted printed out for frames have finally been done.

  • We take a TON of pictures so we don't print them all.  DH has all of our pictures backed up on two different hard drives.  I order prints of the good pictures for DD's scrapbook.  I am currently up to date with DD's scrapbook, I just finished updating it last week.  I don't like getting more than 2 months behind because it takes forever to get caught back up with her scrapbook if I fall that far behind.

  • The good ones go in my blog and every six months I print out my blog books. I also have them organized on my computer and make discs that I keep in a folder. I used to print them out in photo albums but I like using my blog book instead. I also made a scrapbook for DS's first year and plan to do that again for this LO.
  • I guess I am the odd man out here.  I actually do photo albums.  I don't print EVERY picture, but I print most of them.  I usually print every month or so, sort them by date, then comment in the album.  I love looking back on them.  I also have all pics backed up on the computer and an external hard drive.

  • I upload them on FB and on ImageEvent.com

I'm working on scrapbooking them, too. Haven't started yet!

  • We keep them all on our external hard drive so it doesn't bog down our computer.  I scrapbook some and I have also made a couple of photo books of my faves on shutterfly.

  • I do several things.

Every 6 months, so far, I've made a photo book online (so twice).

I have a scrap book of her first year.

I also have a photo album where I print pictures and stick them in.

Most of the pics, though, are on an external hard drive. I take soooo many there is no way I could print them all.

  • I take a ton of photos and have them saved on a couple different sites.  I also print off almost every picture too!  Cost a lot but I love to have them.  I put them all in scrapbooks.  Cedric will have a ton!  But if I get too far behind I plan on just putting them in a photo book at least.

  • I use Snapfish, and I print all the good ones (usually 1-2 times a month, I place an order). They go into regular photo albums, with the exception of a few random scrapbooks. I keep them online as well, but I like to have the hard copies for sharing and flipping through.

This was me until she turned 8 months. For some reason, I stopped printing them then. But since they're all backed up, I'm not worried about them. I think doing a yearly photo book is a fabulous idea (one I'm stealing, btw) Wink
