I don't want to be induced on Friday

LO's eviction notice has been served for this Friday. I'm really, really hoping that she comes before then. I'm 3cm dilated and 90% effaced. Those that have had their LO's-- what sent you into labor? I've been doing housework all day, lots of squats, lots of walking, and have had lots of sex the past few days.

Nothing. I had to be induced...but lo wouldn't drop into the birth canal...so nothing I did woulda helped. I had a c-section. GL!

I don't know if any of these really worked for me or not since it turns out I was brewing an infection that likely caused him to come at 38 weeks, but here's what I did anyways in case it helps: Evening Primrose Oil Pregnancy Tea Scrubbed the nursery from top to bottom including the baseboards and floor on my hands and knees by hand Sex (lots of it) Bounced on my exercise ball whenever we watched TV Procrastination (sort of reverse psychology haha) - I had convinced myself that he would come late since DD was a 42 weeker ...so I put off doing things and didn't end up getting them done! Good luck and hopefully LO comes before Friday!

Nothing worked for me. I had to be induced at 41w 1d. I was 0.5cm dilated (Dr did manually the day before induction. I was not dilating on my own.) and 100% effaced the morning that I was induced. I had really been dreading it and didn't want to be induced, but it really wasn't that bad. I delivered normally about 10 hours after we started the pitocin. It's really not too bad!

i'm in the same situation, but only 2cm 50%. I'm dying to go naturally before the end of the week!!! GL! Sharing my labor dust...

I had to be induced also. And before that I tried every technique that supposedly induced labor; walking, sex, excersize ball, clean on hands and knees... What worked was the pitocin!
