Taking a lot of vaca time this week.

I kinda feel guilty but not really. Embarrassed This is my 4th day off in a row now.  If my ET is Wednesday, I'll be taking Wed to Fri.  I have to work Saturday. 

If my ET is Friday, then I am probably going to be a nervous wreck on Saturday about doing too much but I can't not go in.  At least the 2 people I am working with know whats going on with me.  

Should I feel bad?  Probably not, huh?  I work in a busy hospital lab, so I guess that's why....

TTC since July 2009.
MFI, Moving onto IVF-ICSI.
IVF #1 = BFP - sadly a blighted ovum discovered at 7 wks.
D+C 12/7/10.
IVF#2 - ER 3/27. 8 fertilized. ET 4/1; transferred 2 blasts; 2 frosties (total of 3 now)
Beta #1, 4/11 = 291! Beta#2, 4/18 = 2702. Beta #3, 4/25 = 17303.
Ultrasound #1, 4/29 = 1 perfect baby and heartbeat!.
7/21 = a/s! It's a boy!!
Robert Lawrence was born on December 1st at 4:32 am weighing 6lb 3oz, 19.5 inches long and healthy as anything!!

    Don't feel bad!  You need to take care of yourself first, it's way more important than anything else.  Just think about how glad you'll be when you get your BFP that you spent all this time trying to relax!  You're doing it for your family.

    I agree that you should not feel bad.  You need to take care of yourself, which I know if easier said then done!  Relax and good luck with the ET!!

    I'm not at IVF yet, but I've already decided in my head that being ok with the time off of work is a must before starting the process.  I wouldn't feel bad about it at all, especially given how close you are to finishing the cycle!

    Two C/P and Lots of Tests
    Me = LPD + cancer survivor, DH = low count and morphology
    IUIs #1-5, January 2011 - June 2011 = BFN
    IVF #1 in July/August 2011 = BFP!!!!!

    I'm not an IVF yet either, and I've taken a lot of time off from work to deal with infertility related things.  As long as your boss understands and your job isn't in jeopardy then take the vacation days.
    Me: 27, DH: 28 TTC since 11/09
    2/10 & 3/10 Clomid 50mg-BFN
    5/10-Lap Surgery for Stage 2 Endo
    3/11-IUI#1 with Follistim and Menopur-developed mild OHSS= BFN
    6/11-IUI#2 with Follistim -developed moderate OHSS= BFN!
    7/11-FSH-11, AMH 1.6
    9/11-ttc naturally with positive thoughts :)
    10/6/11-POSITIVE pregnancy test!!! 15dpo BETA-220
    6/14/2012- Riley Harper arrived!! We love our little girl

    Do not feel bad!! That's what vacation time is for.. taking.. and not saving up. This is an extremely important procedure and you need to think about yourself and rest..

    3/06 - m/c 1st baby at 6 weeks 
    5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
    D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
    Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    Don't feel bad!!! Everyone should understand...we all need time off for different reasons at different times!
    Me 27 DH 29 TTC since Dec 2008. 3 rounds Clomid all=BFN Met w/RE Jan 2011. Dx right tube blocked. IVF#1-ICSI beta 2/21=BFN FET#1-April ET 4/19 PAIF/SAIF Always welcome!
