The below post about clothes got me thinking about onesies and swaddling blanket registering.
For those with alot of baby shower experience I am wondering if I should even register for these. I feel like when I go to baby showers everyone seems to buy a gift and then throw in 1-3 onesies or blankets.
I am not sure if those were registered for or not, but I was wondering about your experience with this?
I am thrill that people are willing to give us gifts for this shower, but also would prefer not to walk out of the shower with 100 cute onesies because I got what I registered for and then some.

I wouldn't bother. I didn't find regular swaddling blankets all that useful anyway, so I think that 4 are sufficient. Take a few from the hospital if you don't think you get enough
You'll get lots of onesies. If not, they're a dime a dozen on CL or at consignment stores.
I wouldn't register for clothes at all. Things in stock change so frequently that the items you register for probably won't be available when people go to buy gifts. Also, if you've ever bought things off a registry, you know how hard it is to find the one outfit that the parents registered for in a sea of baby clothes. I don't even try.
