After two years of being without a period, I finally got one last week.
And despite my fears of heavy bleeding and painful cramps, all I had was 3 days of light flow (just one day of heavy) and no cramps.
Is this normal or should I go see my ob/gyn?
Were you on birth control? I have heard that it's pretty normal to have a funky period for a while once you go off of it. I would definitely check with your doctor though. My af doesn't seem nearly as heavy since having children, so I'm not sure what that has to do with it.

I didn't get my period back until my kids were around 12 months, so with pg on top of that it was almost 2 full years. But if you aren't nursing and aren't on bc that would be limiting your periods then yes you need to go get checked.
have you been nursing? I didnt get my period until LO was 13.5 months after I weaned completely. And my period was normal for me which is pretty light.
i used to go for very long periods of time without a period, sometimes years, sometimes when i did get them it would only be spots others it was niagara falls. Be sure to mention it to your doc.
I'd say it depends on why you haven't gotten your period for 2 years. My first PP period much less dramatic than I expected it would be. And like PP said, my periods haven't been as heavy as they were before I had DD.

Have you been nursing or are you still nursing?
