Age for your first baby

Same here: 29 now, will be 30 by Sept. My mom was 30 with me (her first), too

Second - Me = 30, DH 36

Third (this one) - Me - 34, DH 40

This is our first baby, and I'll be 35 and DH will be 38 in September. We're procrastinators, but I'm very glad we waited until now.

I was 25 when I had DD.  Will be 29 with this child.

This is our first so I will be 34 at EDD and DH will be 36.

We want 1 more so we won't be waiting very long in between the 2.

I was 23 when I gave birth to my first DS, 25 with my second DS (it was 3 days before my 26th birthday) and I'll just turn 28 when baby #3 arrives.

Our girls were born when I was 27, DH when we were 29 and this little one will be born at 31.  We may still have another ... we will see!

I think I'm officially the oldest responder! I was 37 (really, one day shy of 37 -- my daughter was born the day before my birthday) with my first, and will be 39 when this one is born. My husband just turned 43.

My husband will be 29 when our LO is born. My due date is September 10 and I will be turning 27 on September 12. Not sure how old I will be when I have my first baby!

This is our first baby I am 29 yrs now and will be 30 when I deliver.

My husband is 31 now and will be 32 a month after baby's arrival.

I always planned on having a baby at 30 yrs so I am glad its happening this way. My 20's were amazing and fun with friends and now I'm ready to settle down and have a family life in my 30's.

I turned 33 two weeks before DS was born.  He was due the day after my birthday and was exactly two weeks late.

I'm 35 now and will turn 36 a week or so after I have this baby.  DS and this baby have the exact same due date, 9/26.  But I'll be having a c-section.  So it should be before my birthday.

I'm 27, but both DH and I will be 28 when baby arrives. I really wanted our first child before we were 30, so I'm glad it worked out that way.

This is my first. I'm 31, and I'll turn 32 in October. My husband will turn 34 two weeks after our EDD.  I feel young, since most of my friends don't have kids. My plan (which, of course, may or may not actually pan out) is to have my second around 34-35, and then that'll leave time for a third if we choose to have another after that (my family seems to do OK with late 30's fertility). That should jive with my career trajectory, if things go as planned.
