If your LO has had this have they taken it once or twice a day?  Just wondering if it is going to upset his stomach with a once a day dose?  Thanks

DD is on this and we started with the prescribed once a day dose and it did upset her stomach to the point of vomiting (at least that is what I believe caused the vomiting because she didn't have any other signs of a stomach virus).  I spoke to her pedi today and he suggested going to smaller doses twice a day and *fingers crossed* so far so good.  I would suggest calling the dr and asking if you can do this as well.

Once a day - just be sure to give your LO some yogurt during the day. If she loves it, give more than usual (perhaps at lunch and as a snack) since Omnicef can hurt their little tummies. Also, be on the lookout for signs of colitis. And if she has any, call your pedi right away.

Once a day. I just made sure to give it with a meal, and while she seemed to have a little upset tummy, she never vomited. I really think giving any meds with food helps, as long as your dr doesn't tell you otherwise.
