DH's text to me today - CDR

DH is a SAHD, and he texted me this today: "All the cloth diapers you bought are not worth a ****."

He's having a bad day.  We got in a huge argument last night.  DS has only slept for 22 minutes today (the better he sleeps at night the worse his naps get....apparently, sleep does not beget sleep for him!).  He just found out that his mom had to put their 15 year old dog to sleep today.

The diaper that leaked really badly is a GAD pocket that I bought off of DS.  It was used, but I washed it and he used it for the 1st time today and apparently it leaked extremely bad during DS's 22 minute nap.  All the reviews for GAD's that I've read say that they never ever leak.

After I asked, or made a comment, that maybe, it wasn't snapped tight enough, he said "I don't want to hear that BS". And he said that it was snapped tight enough to leave red marks on DS.  I'm not there, I can't see it, I was just making a comment that any other cloth diaper guru would make.  Sheesh!  I'm sorry that DH is having a bad day.

I deifnitely sympathize with him  BUT I also sympathize with you.  I have placed many a I'm having a hard day phone calls "the baby won't sleep, the laundry doesn't do it self, the house is a mess, I didn't pay the bills or go to the grocery store" blah blah blah...when I calm down I'm always relieved that I'm not on the recieving end of those phone calls..  Hopefully his day turns around
