c/s mom's how long?

I was wondering how long before you gave in to DH? My Dr. recommended 6 weeks but I have been feeling pretty good and it's only been 4 weeks. Did you listen to your Dr. or did you give in before then?

We did it at 6 weeks....which wasn't the best idea since we used no protection!

Mine never said, I never asked. We just went ahead and gave in at a little over 4 weeks.

We had sex I think about 13 weeks after Olivia was born.

Yeah, we have a rockin' sex life. haha.

I just don't have any drive/energy/time for it now. We've had sex a total of three times since she was born. Yipee. ~A

We haven't yet..I have my 6 week appt next week, and I decided to wait until I see my OB.

It was exactly 4 weeks. Nurse told me at discharge 4 weeks for intercourse and I had a very easy recovery.

I waited till after our 6 week appt. I didn't want to take the chance since it's a pretty large wound that is healing.

15 weeks postpartum. I had no desire to do it before then.

You should know that if you do it before the 6 weeks are up, you're putting yourself at risk for a pretty bad infection.

He's still waiting, and we didn't have sex for my entire pregnancy either because I was on pelvic rest. So, we're going on a year with no sex! We better get on that soon...
