Standard IVF schedule w/Lupron?

Good Morning! Hope you all had great weekends!

I'll be starting BCPs for my first IVF cycle a day or two after I get my period this week or early next week (unless of course by some miracle we got pg all on our own this past month). I don't have my IVF schedule yet and am trying to sketch out what it will look like since I'm starting a new job at the end of April/beginning of May.

Is there a standard protocol? I know my RE said BCPs for at least 20 days and the last few days overlap with the beginning of Lupron. So can anyone map out their IVF protocol if similiar? I guess what I'm trying to determine is if egg retrevial will be in April or May if I start BCPs around April 5th.

Edit:  Between 3/10 and 3/27, I was on Stims (Gonal-f).  Night of ER, I started the intramuscular progesterone shots.  I had to stim longer than most protocols...it was taking me a while to get where my RE wanted me to be for follicle size and estrodial level.

I wasn't on BCP, but I took Lupron, starting on cd22. Took that for 2 weeks, then Gonal-F for 9 days. Good luck!!

That sounds like long lupron, which I think is pretty standard for your first IVF unless you're DOR/AMA.

For my cycle, I was on bcp for 25 days, overlapping with lupron for the last 5 days.  I started stims (follistim & menopur) after 13 days of lupron.  Then continued all three (follistim, menopur & lupron) for another 11 days until trigger.  ER was 2 days later.  I started bcp on 9/19 and ER was on 11/3.

I started my birth control on March 14th, I start Lupron March 30th, I begin some more injections (I do not know all the lingo yet) on April 6th. My retrieval day is going to be either (April 16, 17 or 18) and then they put them back in around Easter weekend (april 21,22,23). That is my scheudle and I could be off a day or 2 but I will know more on Wendesday when I go for my appt and start the Lupron.
