So..... I'm wondering did you have one baby move more than the other? I have been freaking out since I read a couple posts on here that mom's lost their LO at the end of the pregnancy. DD moved around soooo much it was annoying but this one doesn't move much at all. I'm really worried more so because of the posts and becuase I'm doing so much more than I did with the first pregnancy. I've never had any issues that the doctor has been concerned about or anything. Maybe I'm just paranoid, WDYT? TIA!!!
Re: Difference in movement for pregnancies
Yes! Both my pregnancies were much different in terms of movements. My DS never.stopped.moving in the womb and has been the same way since he was evicted! lol. My DD was much more mellow-I didnt feel her all that often and she seems to be my mellow child (so far!)
If you're nervous about lack of movement, I would advise you to do a kick count. Drink some juice, lay down and make sure you feel baby move. If you feel no/limited movement an hour later, I would call your OB.
I know when you hear stories on here of 3rd tri pregnancy loss, it's scary! Just remember that it happens to less than 1% of babies, so the odds are in your favor you will deliver a perfectly healthy LO in another few months.
This is great to know. DD moved so much and has been non-stop since she was born. My mom even nick named her wiggle wiggle. I adore her and I was thinking that this baby is too much in shock by all of the bumps he's getting from the outside that he is chilling out and not doing as much as she is. I hope that he will be the more relaxed baby b/c 2 with DD's energy I will be like a size 2 by year 3! LOL. Thanks for putting my mind at ease a little.
I never did kick counts but he doesn't seem to move much after anything extra cold, sweet, or juice like DD did. I know that when I lay on my back he normally moves more so whenever I get really nervous I do that. Thanks again everyone.
