Had a surprise start to IUI #2 on Friday. I had to take Provera because my
cycle would not start. Cycle began on 3/14 but there was no new bleeding. I
quit "bleeding" so I thought that was the end. Well on Friday, I
started new bleeding really out of nowhere. Called my RE and she said to count
this as a CD1.
So today we had to drive the 3 hours to our clinic to be there for our 7:45
appt for CD 3 blood work and ultrasound. This is my first IUI with injectables
so I am a little nervous, especially about the costs, since of course insurance
covers nothing. Turns out my nurse has a "soft spot for teachers" and
she got us donated Gonal F for our cycle. She said it is probably all the
medicine that we will need since I am doing 75 IU per night and she got us 2
300 IU pens. I am so excited that everything seems to be coming together.
Hopefully this cycle will be the one!
I also want to thank OOP Meds for arranging the donations that are also
helping me with Ovidrel.
