Seaford Pediatrics

Hi Everyone,

 Just shopping around for a pediatrician when our baby is born this summer.  Has anyone had any experience with Seaford Pediatrics on Merrick Rd.?  It is definitely a convenient option for location and the fact that they are open on Sundays is also nice. 

Any experiences/opinions would be appreciated.  Thanks!

My OB just recommended them to me. Dr. Meckes, specifically. I'm planning on checking it out by the end of next week.

Just wanted to follow up... I still haven't gone in... not due for a few more weeks.

But, when I called today they recommended stopping by on a Tuesday morning between 9-10, because the office staff is there, but they don't have any patients. So, no sick kiddos to possibly get a soon-to-be mom sick!

They have a FAQ packet and schedule of vaccines you can pick up. They are "too busy" to do interviews... but the girl on the phone seemed very nice and answered a ton of my questions.

My daughter is 10 months and I have been using them since her birth.  I am very happy with Dr. Mecke and the other male dr.

So far nothing but good things to say about them. We had a little trouble with our LO getting back to his birth weight... they were right on top of us with having him come in for weigh ins, and suggesting lactation consultants in the area. We even were seen on a Sunday morning! Got to love a doctor's office that is open 7 days a week!
