Endometrin and Spotting

This is my first iui cycle with injectibles.  Yesterday (12dpiui) I got a negative pg test, and today (13dpiui) I got a negative pg test.  I've pretty much written this cycle off as a failure.  I was so upset that I took my endometrin supp. 2 hours later than I normally do.  I noticed that I had some spotting on the pantyliner that I've been forced to use (thanks to the supp).  Has anyone else had spotting this late in their cycle while on a form of Progesterone?  I called me RE's office, but they're closed, and I don't want to contact an on call dr because I don't think it's an emergency.  I highly doubt I'm pregnant and I don't know if I should continue to take the endometrin.

You are only 12 dpiui - maybe give it a few more days and/or see what the doctor says tomorrow?  Maybe you just tested early!  I am really pulling for you!

I am so sorry sweets.  Stark white sticks are so hard to take, especially following a treatment.

I got my period while on endometrin (11dp 3dt).  My RE's nurse told me that a lot of women will get their periods while on this form of prog. supp if the treatment isn't successful.  I was also told to continue taking the supp if spotting, but if I get a full bleed, to call RE and he would likely tell me to stop, which is what happened.  That said, he did still have me go in for my beta.  So, to answer your question, from my limited experience, I would continue to take it until you can talk to your RE, but try not to stress about it.  This does happen to many women, unfortunately.

My RE has you stop supps at 14dpiui if you get another negative, which I hope you don't.  In the meantime, spotting is totally normal.
