Tommee Tippee Bottles - Has anyone used these?

I just got a small pack as a gift from my mom, but when I read the reviews a lot of people said they leaked. However, the reviews on the Medela bottles said they leaked and the only time I ever had one leak was if the nipple was in crooked. We used a few Avent last time and they leaked literally every time almost and drove me nuts.

So, what's your take on the Tommee Tippee bottles?

My SIL got some for her DS and she said they came out too fast.  We had Nuby ones with the same problem.  We used Medela the whole time and love them, plan on using them again with this LO.  Wish we wouldn't have spent the money on anything else, since I use the Medela ones with my pump.

I used Tommee Tippee to help with DD's colic and they didn't really work for the colic.  They didn't leak and I'm sure they would have been awesome bottles for a non colicky baby.

I have a ton of Medela bottles left over from DD, which was what I planned to use (threw out all the Avent) but my mom saw these on sale and got them for me (after I told her I just planned on using Medela since I know they don't leak). She just thought she was doing something nice because the baby she watches has the Tommee Tippee sippies and they are really nice. I think I'll keep them and give em a try at least.

we use the tommee tippee bottles and havent had any issues with leaks. LO seems to really like them.

We use them.  Love them.  I got them in the beginning becasue the baby sucks them the same way as a breast (when they are accustomed to nursing) but she's a milk drinker now and we're still loving the bottles. 

I use all size one nips still.  Never saw a reason to change.

We were nursing, and DS refused to take a ton of other brand bottles, but ended up loving the Tommee Tippee.  We stopped using bottles around 11 months, but up until then, we used those exclusively.  Oh, and we used the "variable flow" nipple.

ETA: Never had a leak. : )

DD loves the Tommee Tippee bottles, she was very gassy in the begining these were the only bottles that heped. We stayed with number 1 nipple never had any leaks. Today makes 1 full week with no bottles Yay!

I HATE these bottles.

#1 reason:  The nipple sometimes inverts itself to let air in and baby will keep sucking at nothing but air trying to get milk.

#2 reason:  The bottles are very wide/short and harder for baby to hold compared to other bottles.

#3 reason:  They leak, actually I've noticed the smaller size leaks more than the bigger ones.

I really don't think they are "just like breastfeeding" as much as some others claim.  I personally like playtex the best.  We used the drop ins for breastmilk and also the ventair, which is really nice to let air in through the bottom rather than the air going back in through the nipple like these bottles do.

These were the only bottles my LO would take.  I bought 6 other kinds and he would not drink from them, but finally liked the Tommee Tippees.  We have only used these (the 5 oz. size) and have never had leaks or problems.  I actually like that they are rounder and short - I think it helps him hold the bottle since it's wider.  The nipple also is shaped nicely.  Nothing is exactly like the breast, but it is shaped more like what he was used to.  He is still using them.  I also like that there are not a lot of parts to clean like some of the other bottles.
