HEMMOROIDS!

I cannot BELIEVE I can't find ONE of you ladies who has had an ugly friends pop up lately? I went through the board and though someone would say something about it, but looks like ill be doing it. Yes I noticed one about two days ago..how did this happen?? It doesnt hurt, just annoying. My sister had them and said its from DS being so low and putting pressure down there. She also said she STILL has them....do I have a freind for life or what?? And what about pushing in labor?? Will it get bigger?? OMG how embarrassing...Ive been trying to make a joke of it mostly but really....it sucks.

I have one!  I noticed it in the shower the other day.  It's small and doesn't hurt or itch at all.  I had DH look at it (he's had them his whole life) and he confirmed that it's there... I just hope it stays small and painless!!

Other moms that I know said that theirs went away after labor, even if they got them during labor, so hopefully that's the case!

I haven't gotten any this pregnancy (knock on wood).  The same with last pregnancy, but when I pushed him out I got a nasty one that lasted way longer than I would have liked (and bled and felt like I was pushing glass out every time I had a bm)...I've heard it's still there and just flares up at certain time.  I don't really know a lot about them though.  I'd be thankful that yours doesn't hurt!  (but yes, it could get bigger between now and labor or during labor)

I have one and like PP it doesnt hurt or itch and it is relatively small.  I only noticed it because when I got my Strep B swab it hurt a lil and the doc told me it was because I had a hemmoroid.

ME!!  I had one about a month ago, and I used preparation h and it went away....until 3 days ago..now a few have popped up!!  UGH they are so gross, mines not painful either just really annoying.  I REALLY hope they go away after DD comes

This exactly. But I've got more than one and they are not pleasant.

I have one too and its so embarrassing...ick!!! I need to try and get some prep h or something!! so strange!!!

I had a really bad one.... i still have it, but at least it doesnt hurt to walk! I waddled for about a week before it finally got smaller.  

My doctor okayed the Tucks pads (you have to leave them on to work though) and prep H.  I thought the pads helped a lot more than the cream.....

edit: she also said to use colace from now on so i will HOPEFULLy not get any more of them.

I have one too!  I've been using tucks and prep H ointment, but it seems to shrink and then flare back up but hasn't gone away.

I forgot to ask my Dr. at my last appt. what will happen to it during delivery.  Yuck!
