OBGYN Advice

Hi ladies - I just found out I am pregnant!  We are thrilled.  I live in Baltimore and we are looking for a great OBGYN.  I heard good things about Dr. Lillian Hunter, but I am open to suggestions.

Any advice would be greatlyappreciated!

Thanks!

Re: OBGYN Advice

  • I go to Charles Street OBGYN, located at GBMC and can't say enough good things about them,  There are 3 docs there, two males and one female and they are all fantastic and very easy to talk to.  The female, Dr. Erdman, is the one who delivered DD and she helped make the experience so easy and comfortable.  It was like talking to an old friend in delivery.  They also have later hours on M and W, which helped me with not taking off of work so much.  HTH and congrats!

  • I go to Charles Street OBGYN as well and have nothing but wonderful things to say about them! The staff is great, the doctors are patient even after I have asked a million questions, and the evening hours are definitely an added bonus.

I see Dr. Kesler (same practice as Dr. Hunter) and I loved her.  I was new to the practice since I had ds #1 in PA and I really liked how easy she is to talk to.  I never felt rushed during appts and she always called me back quickly when I had questions.  She actually delivered ds #2 last week and I had an all around awesome experience (with her, the nurses and GBMC).  I think, as a whole, Perinatal Assoc has a good reputation and anyone I've talked to who went there liked their experience.  My neighbor goes to Charles Street ObGyn and has nothing but good things to say about them as well.

  • Ob Gyn Associates they have an office at Sinai hospital and one located in May's Chapel.  I see Dr. Julie Jacobstein and I absolutely love her and the entire practice.

410-308-7820 should be the May's Chapel number.

  • I go to OB/GYN Specialists of Maryland & LOVE them!  THey have 2 offices & I go to the Towson one.  Everyone on staff is really nice & helpful.  I hate needles & blood draws but even the blood lady (Val) was great & it didn't hurt!!

This. Dr. Erdman has been so supportive and helped me through some difficult medical issues (prior to this pregnancy). And Dr. Singh just cracks me up every time I see him!

  • I use Dr. Hajj at GBMC.  He is a solo practioner, not part of a group.  I really liked that he was the only person I saw.  Unfortunately I had an emergency delivery and the attending doctor had to "catch" DD before Dr. Hajj could get there.  (Totally not his fault, DD came 2 months early and was born with 3 contractions.)

But I can attest to Dr. Hajj's bedside manner as I was the labor coach for both of my sister's deliveries with him.  He is a great doctor.
