When I had a chest cold Robotussin or the knock off 'Tussin' was the only thing I could take per my OB.

just plain robitussin (or the store brand) no letters, like DM or CF etc.

The only active ingredient should be guaifenesin.

Does your OB office have an after-hours nurse line you can call? My doc said any Robitussin was okay. I guess some are more conservative than others...

i do remember them saying something about dm...but i couldn't remember if it was the good one or the bad one.

My OB sheet said DM only.

Just went through this this week! My OB cleared Robitussin DM, or "Tussin DM." Mine also said Theraflu and Sudafed were ok.

"Pregnancy 411" says robitussin dm is what to take. Hope you feel better!
