is there a big difference in clothing size with regards to 24months & 2T aren't they the same? I assume 2T might be a tad bigger?

2T is narrower in width and in greater in length. 24 months is wider and shorter respectively.

Some places they are exactly the same. I held some pants on top of one another at Khol's 2T and 24 months, and they were pretty much identical.

I think it must depend on the brand - I've seen 2T pants that were wider than 24months, and some that were identical.
