My DD hasnt been eating her solids since Thursday now. She throws it on the floor, turns her head away and flat our refuses! She doesnt seem sick besides a little runny nose. Could it be illness or attitude? I am at a loss.

Re: Hunger Strike
You should not force feed your child under any circumstances. Toddlers will not starve themselves. She will make up missed calories later in the week.
I have a picky eater who refuses food randomly all the time. She is healthy and growing fine. Have you tried making a smoothie? Baby food, water and a little bit of juice works for us. Good luck and don't worry!
force feeding her meaning i would be feeding her yogurt, cereal, fruit and whatever else she let me put in her mouth along with pushing fluids. i see nothing wrong with this. if she isn't doesn't eat for days in a row i would have called the Dr by now for suggestions.
