With summer coming up I feel the urge to be tan. I'm thinking of using the jergens tanning lotion. Has anyone used it pregnant or not? Any opinions on something better? TIA!

I used it while pregnant with DS1 and am using it, now...I don't think it will harm the baby. DS is fine .
The only issue with me is I have the 'natural glow' lotion, which is like a gradual progression, and it's hard to tell if you're putting it on evenly because at first it just looks like lotion. Plus, I'm super white to begin with so anything like that ends up looking orange...But I figure it's better to be a little orange than to blind people when I wear shorts .
I haven't used sunless tanners for about 3 years. Last time I used something called build a tan and the next day I was orange, lol. Another question. How do you apply it to your back?

I only use it on my legs because that's the part that I have the hardest time getting tan...I guess I would just have DH put it on my back, otherwise it would end up in some funky patterns .
i used it and i couldnt STAND the smell and that was when i wasnt pregnant. I use 'Beach Sexy' by Victoria's Secret, the instant lotion with tint, and it is instant, you have a tan within an hour or so, it isnt gradual like jergens, so really you dont even need to use it every day...

The smell bothers me, too, but I've just been dealing with it. Does the Victoria's Secret kind last a while?
I used the Jergens the first time around, and I liked it but you really need to make sure you do it semi-evenly! On my shins, I always started straight up the front of my shin, and always wound up with a slightly darker brown line there... The rest of my legs/body weren't any darker, just that one spot. Also, make sure you wash your hands well after or you'll end up with darker marks between your fingers As far as tanning lotions like that go, definitely my favorite!
The Jergen's natural glow lotion is nice and as PP stated, it is hard to tell if its being applied evenly. The only areas I noticed a "orange" or darker color was at the elbows and front of the knee/shin area. But exfoliating took that away. I use it on my face too and it doesnt harm or make me break out.
I use Loreal's Sublime Bronze tanning wipes. They are AMAZING, and that's coming from someone who tanned in a bed for years. I gave the beds up two years ago, switched to these and never looked back.
They are wipes that you wipe down your body with after a shower, and within an hour or so, you have color. You can keep applying them each day to reach the color you want. It does take a little practice to not get streaks, but it only took me a few times to learn how to do it "right." Love them!

I've used the Jergens before & it did work well (was subtle & not orange) but it does smell weird just like all sunless tanning lotions.
During pregnancy, I am wary of using any, because of the chemicals. Will just remain pasty white!
