OK so MH decided to bake some chicken breasts for himself. I did not watch him doing this but was working on some little frittata like things to make fo rthe kids to put in when he's done (they're egg, spinach, ricotta & other cheeses). So I go to reset the temperature when he's done & he pulls a pizza pan with HOLES in the bottom out of the oven with the chicken on it. I'm like, what!? did you seriously just cook chicken breasts in a pan iwth holes in it? And he says yes, I thought it would help the heat get through, so I tell him to look at the bottom of the stove, where the drippings are now all burning & smoldering...SO my question. Do I run the self clean first (which is hours so that means I will not be able to cook any of the stuff I planned during their one nap of the day RIGHT NOW) or just cook my spinach things & hope the burning stuff does not alter the flavor...??? ARGHHHHHThanks.
